Vincenza "Vinnie" (Di Orio Lepore) Aurelio, 99, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Aurelio for over 70 years.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, a daughter of the late Pasco and Antonietta Di Orio, she is survived by her loving son Alphonse J. Lepore and his wife Jean of Barrington, her two devoted grandsons, Glenn M. Lepore of Providence, Gary M. Lepore of Barrington and three cherished great-grandchildren, Garrett, Greta and Greer. She was the sister of Anthony Arcaro and his wife Lana, her predeceased brothers and sisters and her extended family. Vinnie's childhood and younger years were spent on the Lepore Dairy Farm in Lincoln, Rhode Island. She drove a tractor, delivered milk, cared for the gardens and became a renown cook by taste and touch. Her cooking skills awarded Vinnie the honor of "Best Pizza in Rhode Island" by the television program, P.M. Magazine in the 1980's. She was employed at the Providence VA Medical Center and enjoyed cooking at several restaurants and private clubs in the Rhode Island area as well as creating family dinners and Christmas Cookies that will never be forgotten. She loved her quilting/knitting club and volunteering with the Arthritis Foundation and St. Anthony's Church for many years. Most of all, Vincenza's greatest gift was her endless love, support and caring ways for family and friends.

Visitation and funeral Saturday, December 9, 2017 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Anthony's Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial in Saint Francis Cemetery, 163 Smithfield Avenue, Pawtucket.
