PERSIA, MARY G. (CARBONE) 84 of Johnston, passed away peacefully, October 9, 2017 at Steere House, Providence. She was the beloved wife for 63 years of Mario Persia. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Luigi and Rosa (Rampini) Carbone. Besides her husband her is survived by her beloved children, Joseph L. Persia, Linda R. Persia-Quaglieri and Marie Persia and her husband David J. Vine. Loving grandmother of Ariel Persia, Jonathan Persia and Alex Quaglieri. She was the sister of the late Samuel Carbone and Anthony Carbone. Her funeral is Thursday at 8:45 a..m. from ‘’WOODLAWN’’ Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. VISITATION WEDNESDAY 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 245 Waterman St. Suite 306 Providence, R.I. 02906. Please share memories at
