EASTON——-Christina M. (Harris) Cappiello, 68, a resident of Easton for the past 32 years, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at home under the care of her family. She was the wife of Jack A. Cappiello for 49 years.

Born in Brockton, a daughter of the late Richard and Florence (Perrotta) Harris, she was raised in West Bridgewater and was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School.

Christina was a devoted mother who stayed at home when her children were younger. Later when they were grown she went to work as a waitress at the former Christo's Restaurant in Brockton. After, she went into business for herself starting out in the exercise toning tables industry and later becoming the proprietor of Heavenly Body's Tanning Salon located at 748 Crescent Street in Brockton which she operated up until her illness.

Christina enjoyed gardening, flowers, and frequent visits to Old Silver Beach in Falmouth. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband Jack, she is survived by two children, Michael Cappiello and his wife Rose of Easton, and Jacqueline Cappiello of Easton; six siblings; two grandchildren, Jack and Kate Cappiello; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Easton, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
