Tribute & Message From The Family

Robert H. Holt of East Providence, RI, formerly of Needham, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 6, 2017. He was 76 years old.
A resident of Needham for 30 years, Mr. Holt had a lifelong career in the Optical business, most recently for Luzerne Optical for the past 17 years as a Territory Sales Manager for Massachusetts.
He was the beloved husband of the late Betsy (Carlsen) Holt and the father of Melissa Holt Ringer of Franklin and Robert Holt Jr. and his longtime girlfriend Serena Hanlon of E. Providence, RI. Brother of William Holt and his wife Susan of Westerly, RI, he is also survived by his three granddaughters, Paige and Hailey Ringer of Franklin and Kristina Basler of E. Providence, RI.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham on Friday, October 13th at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7. Interment will take place at Needham Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701

You may not know me but I am a great friend of your father's and I just wanted to say that I'm so very sorry for your loss. He was an amazing man that I will never forget! His beautiful soul will live on through the two of you that he loved so dearly, and all of the many friends of his. He will NEVER be forgotten! Rest peacefully Bob.
