Mr. Maggs noted that the initial of "W" not "A" was incorrectly painted when the boards were created.

Albert Maggs, a World War II veteran, is honored at the Westerly Armory. His name appears on a memorial board in the main hallway.

The Greatest Generation deserves our greatest respect. Mr. Maggs, a Westerly native, contributed much in his long and full life.

The family can be very proud of Albert E. Maggs.
