Barbara was always willing to lend here expertise to others. She helped me with both knitting and sewing. I remember best when she helped me with my new hobby of sewing. At my very mature age I decided that I wanted to use a sewing machine. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The new hobby soon became very frustrating. Barbe offered to help and I took her up on that offer. The frustration went away as she calmly instructed me.
She will be missed by both my husband and me. She was a dear person!

So sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. She was a wonderful addition to our knitting group. I always enjoyed seeing her many projects and often sat in awe of her speed in knitting them. She will be missed.

Dearest Arthur,
Barb was a great lady. She came from the old school where kindness and generosity were important. She was always willing to help us with a knitting project, share a skein or a pair of needles.
I am so glad I got to meet her and share many meals with her and the MaRiCut Knotters. We became a family joined by our love of knitting. And she was a great knitter for sure. Even with her unique style

Barbara will be remembered for her sweet and gentle ways. There are dozens of ladies who benefited from all her teachings in knitting, sewing and painting at Pilgrim Senior Center. Many of us will recall how she would say "tear it all out and start over". She gave it to you straight. I miss her terribly.
